I have nothing to say about this one, but I thought the photo of Weston practicing Kung Fu was worthy of posting by itself.

I'm Rich. She's beautiful.

Some of you mistakenly thought Pixar was caught slipping a little with Wall-e. I personally loved the movie and so did the drunken midgets. Here are Julia’s recent Wall-e inspired arts.

Julia: Is a jet the fastest plane?
Claire: Actually, a rocket ship is faster than a jet.
Julia: So, a rocket ship is the fastest thing in the world.
Rich: Well, the fastest thing in the world is light.
Claire: Papa’s right. When you turn on a flashlight, the light moves faster than anything.
Julia: So, a rocket ship is the fastest moving thing…AND the fastest NON MOVING thing is a flashlight.

If weston gags on a bit of food he says, “Oops, I clogged.” I don’t know where it came from but I am going to start calling it the heimlich when I have to unchoke a toilet or sink…creates a good mental image, methinks.

Julia has been drawing horses lately. I asked her what these two were doing and she answered, “This is a picture of two unicorns fighting over a carrot and a sugar cube.” The one on the right is one ferocious unicorn.

I was careful to turn off all alarms the night before, but around 7:00 or so, Conrad and Julia climbed into bed with us. Not a problem…except for Julia’s aversion to bed covers and Conrad’s rapid-fire pacifier sucking. Finally, when I was close to giving up and climbing into Julia’s bed, I thought we should talk about it:
Rich: Julia, is this Conrad’s bed?
Julia: No, he’s too small.
Rich: Is this your bed?
Julia: No, I’m too medium size.

Weston actually made this for his grandpa, but I stole it. It’s a dino.

This one is called “Mermaid Eating Clams”.

Julia has been drawing a lot lately. This is one of her recent themes: sperm whales eating squid.
